Fletcher Coleman "Pete" Miller, age 86, Nauvoo, Alabama, formerly of Haleyville, passed away Monday, January 27, 2020. He was self employed in the mobile home industry and was a member of Needmore Church of Christ. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, National Defense, and Field Commendations Crewman. Pete loved being outside, tinkering with old cars, watching the hummingbirds and was an Alabama fan. He was also vice-president of the Haleyville Jaycees from 1966-1967. Visitation is Wednesday, January 29, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home-Haleyville. Funeral service is Thursday, January 30, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Joseph Marcrum, Neil Gilbert and Steve Tidwell officiating. Burial in Littleville Cemetery with military honors. He is survived by his daughter, Janice Louise Miller Noblett; brothers, Drexel "Top" Miller, and Melvin Athan Miller; grandson, Jarrett Wayne Noblett; granddaughter, Emily Green and three great grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his wife of 25 years and the mother of his children, Lizzie Gurtrue Cagle Miller; son, James Michael "Mike" Miller; parents, Joseph Christopher and Ida Frances Miller; brothers and sisters, Cecil Miller, Thomas Joe Miller, Geraldine Oliver, Devona Treece, Martha Timmons and David Miller. you may leave online condolences at www.pinkardfh.com
