Minnie Jean Bean

Mrs. Minnie Jean Bonds Bean, age 80, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Saturday, July 15, 2023. Minnie confessed Christ at an early age. She was a member of several churches throughout her life. She was an active member of Friendly Temple COGIC, at the time of her homegoing. She leaves to cherish her memory; daughters, Michelle Nelson and Sabrina Randolph, both of Russellville; grandchildren, Joseph Nelson, Kirby Nelson (Jaleesa), Tykeise Hamilton (Brookelyn), Robert Hamilton (Laila),Syleena Francelia Randolph, all of Russellville, AL; great grandchildren, Chris’haun Jennings, Jayson Nelson of Berry, AL, Makynzie Nelson, Kylin Nelson, Kyler Nelsons, Trace Hamilton, Kyree Hamilton, Kulture Hamilton, all of Russellville; sisters, Harriet Carter (Hillard) of Leighton, AL , Mildred Hamm of Tallahassee, FL, Margret Fuqua of Tuscumbia, Belinda Gholston, Lucy Bonds of Huntsville, AL; brothers, William Bonds (Almetta) of Nashville, TN, RJ Bonds (Brunella) of Atlanta, GA, James Bonds (Tracy) of Tuscumbia, AL; special sons, Joey Nelson, Alex Hamilton, Robert Garrett, Chris Sexton (Lauren), Mark Hurley, Marty Nance, Benny Ingram Jr., as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Roy Bean Sr.; daughter, Jeannie F. Bean; son, Earl Roy Bean Jr.; daughter Makeisha Monique Bean Hamilton, as well as her parents, Jeannie M. Bonds and Robert Hamilton. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2023 from 12noon – 1pm at The Friendly Temple Church of God in Christ. The funeral will follow at 1pm with Bro. Bobby Smith Officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Mark Hurley, BJ Bean, Byron Bean, Bernard Phinizee, Marty Nance, Derrick White and Bennie Ingram. Honorary pallbearer will be Syleena Randolph. Flower Bearers will be friends and family. The family acknowledges with sincere appreciation, your prayers and acts of kindness shown at this time of bereavement. A special thank you to the staff of Amedysis Hospice Care for your extended services. May God forever bless you all. Pinkard Funeral Home of Russellville assisted the family.
